QUESTIONS

  • Do you sell new books?
    Yes! In our Abe shop we sell pre-owned collectables and special books (like signed and first-editions), but you can find a lot more in our shop in Huntly. We can also order in books for you, and one of our passionate and book-loving volunteers will help you find what you're looking for.
  • I'm looking for something specific, can you help me?"
    We'll do our very best! You can contact us by phone, or email and we'll see what we can do. If you would like to talk to one of our amazing book-loving volunteers, please call during our open hours - Monday to Saturday 10-4
  • Do you sell book tokens?
    We sure do, and we can redeem them too.
  • Can I hold an event at your shop?
    We host all sorts of events all year round, and we'd love to chat abour your plans. Drop us a line, or pop in and see us, and we'll see if we can work something out.
  • I'm an author, and I'd love to visit you. How do I do that?"
    Firstly, thanks for thinking of us! We love that you want to come and see us. We have all sorts of events throughout the year, and we'd love to talk to you about a visit. Get in touch, or drop by, and we'll see what we can work out.
  • I'm an artist, can I sell or display my work in your shop?"
    We often display work by local artists and creators. Obviously there is quite a lot of demand for this, so we can normally only offer display space for one month at a time. We don't take a fee, but we do ask for a commission on anything sold in the shop. We also have to insist that you have insurance on your work, and that you understand the risks of displaying in a busy little shop! GIve us a call, or drop by and see us and we'll see what we can do.
